Another lazy Canadian summer...
Indeed I am home in the 'sweltering' heat that is New Brunswick. On the plus side it actually stopped raining since I have been home.
wow
I cannot even start on a happy note, cynical is as close as I come...meh, you all know me well enough to put up with it.
As far as news goes, once again there is not too much to relate. My summer tasks have been given, amongst them: become an expert on swimming pools, become an expert on wind turbines, clean the house out.
I know.
The first two are going to be a breeze are they not? I do not know what they are thinking with the last one.
There is going to be a new black Lab in our house, but not until the fall, when I am not around to clean up its mess. It is coming from a breeder in Nova Scotia and required a show name, so my father simply gave the winery name, Gillis of Bellisle. Now of course the dog is going to need an everyday name and so I turn to you my faithful readers, once again the call is going out. There are three names to currently vote for, but if you think you have an even better one (No Dyker, C.L.assie will not do) post it. The names:
Gilly - A friend of my mother thought this up (Though how much thinking was required...). I know, it sucks, do not vote for this one.
Skye - One of mine, I like it but I gave it only after my mother harranged me about my first choice...
GOB - See...Gillis Of Bellisle...brilliant. See if he is being good you can yell 'Gobby' or if he is being bad '*&%#ing Gobshite'. *sigh* why are we even voting...
Good news, no trees have decided to hit my jeep so once I con someone into a visit they can help me put the soft top on. Those convertible summer nights playing Coldplay and driving on old country roads is calling me.
I have some news on the picture front. My computer is still arsed, but I found all my Italy pics are still on my camera. So my next update will be sure to have some...but I am only going to put one pic on this week. Before I left jolly old, I went to a Bad Taste party with Bronagh. Now while there is a pic of what I wore I, in all my jerkiness, am not going to show it. I will show what B wore, as she is in another country and cannot physically impede me...
wwwooooo.....ouch.
I will update in a weekish. By the way, who is 'C' in the comments? And where are we meeting next Xmas...
Clicking off,
A B

I didn’t know you were coming home for the summer. I assumed I’d see you again at O’leary’s on Boxing Day. As for my identity, I’m the younger, smarter, funnier and overall better Moore sister.

Have you seen "Arrested Development"? I highly recommend it...if you want to drive to Halifax, I could save you the trouble of a trip to Blockbuster, since Adam and I own the first 2 seasons.
Why the random question about American tv, you ask? G...O...B...(pronounced JOB) is the name of the eldest son, whose full name is George Oscar Bluth.
Really, its a great show, you should check it out if you need a break from reading about wind turbines (BTW, should I brace myself to see a sign on the highway between SJ and Sussex announcing the latest Gillis enterprise...wind farming?)
Really, come see us if you'd like. We're pretty much house bound for the rest of the summer as we await the arrival of little Adam or Adamette (pretty isn't it?)
Name him Desu. Like the weaboo's do. LOLZ!!!

Where's the updates?!?
Surely something interesting is happening in the grand metropolis of Quispam! Perhaps you need an exciting weekend in Halifax to provide some note-worthy material...
